Picked up a few pages from my local comic shop: all older material.  This looks like a newspaper comic by Art Helfant called Hector The Director, and it has a copyright indicating 1953 Harvey Features Syndicate.  Along the border it indicates this page was for Daisy issue 12 page 22 bottom, yet I can’t find mention of a comic witt that title.
