Another treasure from the Toronto Comicon: a Darwyn Cooke Dr. Fate sketch. I’m a huge Cooke fan and love his artwork; unfortunately it never comes up on eBay and his dealer’s prices are pretty high. Last year he was doing free profile (head and shoulder) sketches, this year he was charging $50 for the same, or $100 for a full figure.

Picked this up at the Toronto Comicon.  I’m finding a lot of artists are unfamiliar with Dr. Fate; will have to bring source material from now on.

Another great page added to my collection at the Toronto Comicon 2007 this month.  This time around I scanned the page before framing so I was able to capture the notes and such.  Not as clean as my other two Heck pages, with blue pencil and some age marks.
